The Desks

The Desks write short, simple pop songs, but usually not before recording them.

Jeff started making songs as The Desks in 2002 after taking a beginners course in guitar at the local community college. He's getting much better at it. He records at home, in Sydney, playing cheap instruments through microphones to multitrack. A typical song will flow from a couple of repeated chords on nylon-string guitar and some keyboards and improvised lyrics. The song is then given an interesting name to make it seem like it all has real meaning.
